Football Bingo

One player at a time, twelve category tiles. Place each footballer on a tile they match — club, country, league or trophy — and fill the whole card.

What is Football Bingo?

Football Bingo deals you one footballer at a time against a twelve-tile card of categories — clubs, countries, leagues and trophies. Your job is to place each player on a tile they truly match. Fill enough of the card and the round counts toward points and prize tickets. It is one of the fastest ways on MatchDay Arcade to test how widely you know careers, not just current squad lists.

How to play Football Bingo

  1. A footballer is shown one at a time with their portrait and name.
  2. Place them on a tile they match — a club, country, league or trophy category.
  3. Keep going until the twelve-tile card is full or you run out of players.
  4. Wrong placements are marked; plan ahead so flexible players cover awkward tiles.

What counts as a finished game

A game counts when you fill at least 6 of the 12 tiles.

Strategy tips

  • Do not burn a multi-trophy legend on a common country tile — save them for rare cups.
  • Fill narrow tiles (specific leagues or trophies) as soon as a good fit appears.
  • Leave broad nationality tiles for later if the card still has specialised gaps.
  • If two tiles could fit, pick the one you are least likely to see again soon.
  • Scan the whole card before placing; first instinct is often the least valuable use of that player.
  • When the card is half full, prioritise completing six counted tiles over chasing a perfect twelve.

Example round

You draw a Champions League winner who also played in Serie A. If your card still has an empty “Champions League winner” tile and a common country tile, place them on the trophy tile — another countryman is more likely to appear than another European Cup winner.

Frequently asked questions

How many tiles do I need for points?
At least six of the twelve tiles must be filled for the game to count.
What do trophy tiles mean?
They ask for winners of that competition. The label shows the trophy name with “winner” underneath.
Can one player sit on only one tile?
Yes — each dealt player is placed once.
Are club tiles about current clubs only?
No. Past spells that exist in our data can qualify.
Why are some crests slow to load?
Media is served through our cache proxy; a refresh usually resolves a blank crest.
Is Bingo related to Party Impostor?
No. Bingo is a solo placement puzzle. Party Impostor is a multiplayer bluff game.
