MatchDay LINK

Three clubs, one connecting player. Name a footballer who played for all three for full points, or two of them for partial credit. Easy, Hard and Infinite modes.

MatchDay LINK is a career-connection puzzle. You are shown three clubs and must name a footballer who links them. A player who appeared for all three earns full credit; a two-club link can still earn partial credit depending on the mode. Easy, Hard and Infinite modes change how demanding the club sets are and how long you keep chaining answers.

  1. You are shown three clubs.
  2. Name a footballer who played for all three for full points.
  3. A player who played for two of them can earn partial credit.
  4. Choose Easy, Hard or Infinite mode before you start.

A game counts when you finish it.

  • On Easy, start with famous multi-club forwards and midfielders from the big five leagues.
  • On Hard, think loans, short spells and lower-league stops — not only trophy-room careers.
  • If you only know a two-club link, take partial credit rather than staring at a blank input.
  • Infinite mode is about pace: bank safe links and do not chase mythical three-club unicorns every round.
  • Group clubs by country first — many links stay inside one league system.
  • Remember that youth or brief senior spells still count when they exist in our database.

Clubs: Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid. A player with senior spells at all three is a full link. If you only know someone who played for two of them, submit that name for partial credit and move on in Infinite mode.

What is the difference between Easy and Hard?
Hard draws tougher club combinations with fewer household-name answers.
Does Infinite mode ever end?
It continues until you stop or fail according to the mode rules — it is built for long sessions.
Do youth careers count?
If the spell is present in our player database, it can count as a link.
Can I play without an account?
You can try the game flow in the browser; signing in is needed to keep points and tickets.
Why was my link rejected?
The player must have recorded spells at the required clubs in our data. Check spelling or try another known traveller.
Is LINK good practice for Bingo?
Yes. Both reward knowing who moved where, and when.

Club spells come from MatchDay Arcade’s synced football career data. Very recent transfers may take a short time to appear.
